Product information The shrinkage rates of the mud to be poured into it may vary depending on whether it is ceramic or porcelain mud. Suitable for casting ceramic or porcelain clay. If the edges of the mould are damaged or broken, it is not an obstacle to get a smooth product. The important thing is that the inside of the mould is smooth. The plaster mould should be wiped with a damp sponge before casting and care should be taken to ensure that there is no dust and pieces inside. If possible, the casting mud should be mixed thoroughly with the help of an electric mixer or a wooden spoon. The mud to be put into the mould should be prepared 1 day in advance and glass water should be used during mud preparation. The mud should be poured into the mould slowly and the mould should be filled to the brim. Depending on weather conditions, 2-4 castings can be made per day. The mould life of the product is approximately 100 castings. It may vary depending on usage.
In some cases, moulds may be sent wet because they are newly cast. If the mould arrives wet, we recommend that you do not use it until it dries. Depending on the ambient temperature, you can wait 1-2 days to remove moisture.
