Underglaze paints are dyes used in ceramic and tile art to decorate clay objects before glazing.
These dyes penetrate the pores of the clay and create a permanent colour and pattern.

Area of Use:
Decorating ceramic, porcelain and tile plates, cups, vases and other decorative objects
Creating patterns for wall tiles and floor tiles
Colouring of sculptures and figures
Use for ornamental purposes in architectural structures

Features:
Specially produced for under glaze use.
Water based. Can be mixed with water when dry.
Suitable for 900-1200°C firing temperature range.
It may show colour change according to the firing degree of the glaze applied on it.
Food compatibility is related to the glaze to be applied on it.

Instructions for Use:
Appears pale colour after the paint is applied. It takes its own colour after glazing.
The paint should be applied homogenously. It can be applied with brush, sponge or airbrush.
Make sure the biscuit is clean and dry before applying paint.
If you want to apply more than one coat of paint, wait for the bottom coat to dry. If too many coats are applied, it may prevent the glaze from adhering to the object and cause glaze throwing problem.
After applying the paint, wait for it to dry, apply glaze on it and fire it at the glaze firing temperature.
The firing instructions of the object and glaze should be followed.

Warnings:
Keep the paint away from children and pets.
May be harmful if swallowed.
In case of eye contact, rinse with plenty of water.
